The first single from "Unfold" from the debut album by the very talented Marie' Digby has been released! This album features the drumming of not only myself but also the great Pete Thomas of Elvis Costello and the Attractions.

First show of 2008 new demos on myspace

Just back from Brazil with Colin Hay.

The Australia / Brazil Tour with Colin was great! There wasn't a bad show , I think all of us in the band could safely say that we had an amazing time playing music and sharing many laughs with each other over the course of the last month. The guys in Spy vs Spy were a blast to tour with in Brazil as well as all the musicians we met in Australia while doing the "Day on the Green" shows including Vanessa Amerossi's band and Jimmy Barnes band.

We filmed a show in Melbourne and more footage was shot for a possible documentry on Colin.

ps. I will be playing timbales with Cecilia Noel and the Wild clams on Christmas Eve live on PBS, I think we open the show in the afternoon, I will also be playing with Colin Hay at Largo on Tue Dec 18th, should be a special show!

Hello everyone, things are good!
Since I last updated this is what has been going on: The Colin Hay tour of the South was great, good times with the guys and gals. I will be in Australia and South America with Colin from the beginning of November until mid December.

I have been doing shows with Marie' Digby, she did a great job singing the Anthem at the Staples Center for the opening game of the LA Kings, we played a set after the game. Congrats to Marie' for her sold out residency at the Hotel Cafe!!!

I have done some recording with an artist named Victoria Vox (produced by the most awesome Mike Tarintino) as well Zack Hexum.

I am looking forward to the Nov 2nd Roman Carter show at Spaceland. Roman is a great blues/soul artist, I recorded some drums for his record "never slow down" which was produced by Tom Rothrock. The Nov 2 show will feature Tom on guitar and Sasha Kristoff on bass.Check it out at: www.myspace.com/romancarter (I am on the song "Just a little too fast")

I recorded drums for the new record by Shane Alexander produced by Heroes and Villains, Billy and Dan did a great job, I can't wait till it is released.

I am also very excited to say I have started demo-ing songs for my next record.

I am here at the 2nd of a 2 night stand with Colin Hay at the Library Theater in Birmingham, AL. Below I am posting a clip from the recent sold out show I did with Marie' Digby at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. Marie' has such a beutiful voice and writes great songs. If you are in LA go see her at the Hotel Cafe, she will be performing the next two Tuesdays September 25th and October 2nd.

I also did the shows with Cecilia Noel and the Wild Clams which were completely awesome.

Hello Everyone!
I am proud to invite you all this Saturday Sept. 8th to the the Temple Bar where I will be playing drums with Cecilia Noel and the Wild Clams, this show will blow your mind! The band includes Jimmy Earl on bass, Lenny Castro on percussion, Toshi Yanagi on guitar (as well as the rest of the unforgettable and extremely talented and SEXUAL Wild Clams!)

Konichiwa! Genki Des?!? Hello, I am writing this on a tour bus leaving Indianapolis, Indiana. I am out on the road playing drums with Colin Hay. As some of you may or may not know I was In Japan for a good part of the last 6 months. What an amazing experience. I was touring with an Artist named Himuro. Every show was sold out. The audiences were amazing. We played hard every night, always giving 110 percent. Everyone that I worked with in Japan was amazing, a pleasure to hang with off and on stage. Japan is a great country, so many beautiful places,
magnificent temples and shrines, amazing food, wonderful seaside, extremely nice people. I feel very fortunate to have seen so much of Japan. From Kyushu to Sapporo, I went everywhere and the people I was with always made sure I always had a great time.

I hope to go back soon and would highly recommend a visit there.

The Colin Hay tour has been great, we have been maintaining a very busy touring schedule, but there is a certain effortless to it. I feel very lucky to have a great crew that have made it very easy on us.

I am looking forward to some upcoming recording sessions in LA, as well as some shows with Cecelia Noel and the Wild Clams and Enrique Iglesias.

I am very excited to start recording my next record, and to play some Charlie Paxson shows, so please stay tuned!

Two great sold out shows at the Saitama Super Arena with Himuro the past couple days! Great audiences , thanks to all who came!Japan, such a great place, I had a great time, it feels like home!

I am about to start the Colin Hay tour in a few days. Colin is awesome! Hope to see you at one of the shows!

Just checking in, still in Japan playing hard and having fun. I feel very fortunate to have be able to travel and play all over this country (Japan). Everyone, band and crew is really nice and fun to be around and I look forward to each show.

In other news , Colin Hay's new record came out, "Are You Looking at Me" on Compass Records. Go check it out if you get a chance.

Also I am now a proud endorser of Yamaha drums. Great company, great drums. (Thank you Yamaha!)

The tour is going great! I feel so lucky to be able to play for so many enthusiastic people every night! Thank you!

I went to see MUSE tonight in Nagoya, what a great band! I am particularly found of the song "Starlight". In additon, I went to see my fellow Himuro band mate Takeshi Honda's band "Fringe Tritone" , I thought they were great too!

A night of great music followed by some great food in Nagoya, Japan.
